There's another tax hike looming, but Council keeps spending

According to the article, at the September 12 Columbia Borough Council meeting, Council discussed the possibility of a 31% tax hike in the near future. Council seems reluctant, however, to reduce spending to the point where a tax hike can be avoided.

Last year (December 2018), Council voted unanimously to raise municipal taxes by 1.4 mills, from 6.6 to 8 mills - a 21% increase.
